The Episode starts after the conclusion of the last episode of the “Yumichan’s Abduction” Chapter. Komatsu and Toriko are making their way to Kyūchi so that they can plan the next part of their journey. Komatsu and Toriko continue their travel in a three-legged hedonism boat with the help of the “love boat” otter Otaa, and the boat’s crew (Mr. Grump, Mr. Fishy, and Mr. Betta). The episode ends as soon as the boat arrives in Kyūchi. Komatsu and Toriko take a walk in Kyūchi and discover the Giant Dog (which is a mutated form of the Kirin) attack another giant dog.
Toriko: Komatsu-san, we’re at Kyūchi… We should go to the Chikyū.
Komatsu: Yeah… I’m counting on you.
Toriko: Hey… Make sure to get all of the ingredients and food.
Komatsu: Okay!
Toriko: Yeah!
They arrive at the Chikyū.
Episode 0x5: Kyūchi (Part 2)
Toriko and Komatsu enter the Chikyū. As they enter, Toriko notices the absence of the giant dog that Komatsu defeated in the last chapter.
Komatsu: You guys have to be careful around here. No one knows about the city’s seal.
Toriko: There are no people around… Looks like nobody’s been here for a long time.
Toriko: But it’s been a long time since the seal was created.
Toriko: What’s this?
Toriko: A large-scale seal? It’s strange. This is supposed to be the country’s largest. The seal’s not only massive, but also very broad. It makes me think that it’s made by a large scale seal.
Toriko: That’s odd… I’ve never heard of anything like this before…
Toriko: Komatsu-san, are you all right?
Komatsu: Yeah… There’s nobody around, so let’s explore the city.
